Last week Diamedica visited Kenya to exhibit at Medic East Africa, the largest business platform for the healthcare sector in East Africa, well attended by over 3,900 delegates.
The East African Community consists of 6 Partner States: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and South Sudan, and is one of the fastest growing regions in the world. With the East Africa community widening, one of the key focuses is the healthcare sector. With a combined population of 153 million, by 2030, East Africans are projected to increase to 237 million people. This shows a high demand for increased investment in healthcare.
